Toda a gente mente

É uma das frases icónicas de Dr Gregory House na série House MD.
Lembrei-me dela ao ler o texto mais recente que partilhei em Daqui e Dali , o texto As mentiras mais comuns que todas as pessoas dizem .
Com uma dor perpétua, parece que ganhei algumas características do personagem... e mais algumas. Em particular, tornei-me detector de mentiras. 
Claro que fica mal dizer na cara (ou, mais recentemente, nas mensagens) das pessoas "estás a mentir".
Não me enganam, fiquem lá com a sua verdade, não pensem que me enganam.
Estou velho para dramas, não tenho pachorra para desmascarar e expor. MAS... as mentiras dizem muito sobre as pessoas. Mais do que imaginam.
Até as IAs mentem. No caso delas são geradores automáticos de texto. Não mentem conscientemente... porque não têm consciência.
Algumas mentiras são mais do que suficientes para me afastar... sou de poucos amigos porque nunca fui coleccionador de hipócritas.
Não é uma frase feita.
Nem mentira...
